HBM Nigeria PLC was founded in 1907 and incorporated in China. Huaxin is listed on the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges, and is among the 10 largest cement groups in the world. In addition to cement, Huaxin operates aggregates and ready-mixed concrete as well as waste management businesses.
With plants in Ewekoro and Sagamu in the South-West, Mfamosing in the South and Ashaka in the North-East of Nigeria, HBM Nigeria PLC currently has an installed cement production capacity of 10.5 MTPA and has plans to grow in the near term.
Sagamu Plant
The Sagamu facility houses the Mortar Operations that started in 2019, with the establishment of a dedicated plant. The site also serves as a strategic distribution point for South-West Nigeria, supporting supply chain efficiency across the region's growing construction market.
