HBM Nigeria PLC was founded in 1907 and incorporated in China. Huaxin is listed on the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges, and is among the 10 largest cement groups in the world. In addition to cement, Huaxin operates aggregates and ready-mixed concrete as well as waste management businesses.
With plants in Ewekoro and Sagamu in the South-West, Mfamosing in the South and Ashaka in the North-East of Nigeria, HBM Nigeria PLC currently has an installed cement production capacity of 10.5 MTPA and has plans to grow in the near term.
Ewekoro Plant
Ewekoro Cement Plant is located in Ogun State, with a combined production capacity of 4.5 million metric tons per annum (MTPA). The plant is strategically positioned in the South-West, serving Nigeria's most commercially active region. The Geocycle and Mortar plants are also located at this site.
